Insanity~* (NaLu Gruvia GaLe fanfic) chap. 1

We didn’t understand why it was happening.
Until it drove us insane.


Lucy POV
“Lucee!” Natsu called running up to me.
“What is it now?” I frowned, I was reading a good book at the moment and didn’t want to be pestered.
“Lets go on a job with the gang!” Natsu yelled hugging me from behind.
I blushed and stuttered, “S-Sure…”
Yes, me and Natsu were dating as well as Gray and Juvia.  Finally Gray admitted he likes Juvia.
“Lets go!” Natsu exclaimed grabbing my hand.
“Hai..Hai…” I mumbled sweatdropping.

As we were about to leave the guild the earth started to shake, making everyone fall to the ground.
“What the hell?!” Gray yelled shielding Juvia.
The guild’s roof was now on the floor, and tables were sprawled across the floor.
“J-Juvia doesn’t think it was an earthquake Gray-sama…” Juvia stuttered wide eyed.
“Whatever it was,we need to get to the bottom of it.” Natsu said clenching his fists.

“Oh no need to.” A voice snickered.
We all looked up to see a man in a cloak, the only features you can see of him was his sneer.
His eyes and nose were shadowed under the cloak.
“Who the hell are you?!” Natsu yelled up at the man.
“Oh just your worst nightmare..” The man sneered. “ Or you can call me Akumu.” He bowed.
“What do you want from us?” I asked looking at him suspiciously.
“Just to test you.” He smiled taking of his cloak.
He had blonde hair and red eyes, he had an insane look in his eyes.
“What kind of test?” Gajeel asked helping up Levy.
“You’ll see my Fairy friends.” He snapped his fingers.

We were suddenly in a different place, I don’t even think we were Fiore anymore.
“Natsu where are we?” I asked gripping on to Natsu’s arm.
“I don’t know… but I don’t like where we are….” Natsu said clenching his fists.
The man appeared again still smiling his insane smile. “The island is called Shi Desu Sugu ni.”
“D-Death is s-soon?” Levy stuttered holding onto Gajeel tightly.
“What kind of sick joke is this?!” Gray yelled.
“A very sick joke, tehee.” Akumu laughed.
“I’m testing your guild saneness, if atleast 10 members survive on this island you win.” Akumu sneered. “Let me just warn you, the one that you think loves you or is closest to you will probably kill you, don’t trust anyone…Oh! and have fun!” And after that he disappeared.
We all stood there in shock, the words he just said glued in our minds.
Why would he do this?
Oh yeah, he’s insane, oh the joy!

“Lucy…” Natsu mumbled.
“It’s gonna be ok, we’ll survive this!” I said trying to lighten the mood.
“But...what if…I go...insane?” He said putting his head in his hands.
“I honestly don’t know Natsu, but I have a feeling you won’t.” I smiled putting my hand on his shoulder.
“Arigato Lucy.” He whispered.


Gray POV
What the hell was this?
A guy named Aku something decides to just barge into our guild and take us to this unknown area.
I just stood there facing the ground, so many thoughts were going through me head.
‘What if I hurt Juvia?’
‘What if she goes insane?’
What if.. what if…
“Gray-sama…” Juvia whispered, tears forming in the corners of her eyes.
“Don’t cry Juvia, I hate to see you cry…” I whispered looking at her sadly.
“J-Juvia c-can’t help but picturing horrible things happening!” Juvia yelled running off.
“Juvia!” I yelled running after her into the deep dark forest.

Levy POV
I just sat there hugging Gajeel, I couldn’t process what was happening. I just sat there staring at the clearing, everyone was silent, and it wasn’t a good kind of silent.
My head turned sharply when I heard screaming coming from the woods.
Gray and Juvia were gone.
Was it Juvia’s scream?
Did Gray hurt her?
“G-Gajeel did you hear that?” I asked shakily.
“H-Hai.” He replied.
“Could it have been-”I was interrupted by another scream, yet it wasn’t a scream of terror, it was a scream of total madness.
“Juvia…” I whispered my eyes wide with terror.
Everyone else was looking the way the scream came from, eyes also wide with terror.


Gray POV
I kept running, faster and faster, trying to catch up to Juvia.
But by now she was totally out of sight, I couldn’t see her at all.
I then heard a scream, the most horrifying scream ever, it was coming from Juvia.
“Juvia!” I yelled running even faster. I made it to a clearing where I saw a figure.
“Juvia!” I yelled. I got no answer.
“Gray-sama…” I heard the figure laugh. “I-It’s great to see you here!”
I looked at her wide-eyed as she turned around, her eyes were blank, there was no pupils no anything.
She broke down into a fit of laughter, “I thought you would have never came!”
“J-Juvia?” I asked looking at her in sheer terror.
“Who’s Juvia?” she laughed, “I’m not Juvia!”
“Juvia come back to me!”  I yelled.
All she did was laugh. She sounded insane, infact she was insane.
“Bye bye Gray-sama…” she said manically.
